Acupuncture is not just about pain relief or symptom reduction. It’s about remembering what ease feels like—when the breath flows, when the heart softens, when the body no longer guards itself against unseen weight.
Each acupuncture point is a door. A signal to the nervous system, a whisper to the blood, a nudge to the places that forgot how to move. This medicine listens where words don’t go. It follows the currents beneath your symptoms—gently, respectfully—until something begins to unwind. You don’t need to name it at all; you don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to believe anything in particular. Just show up. Bring your body, your willingness to feel, and a little space to breathe.
The ultimate goal is to awaken your true and powerful nature.
How I work
I don’t follow a script. I listen.
Every person carries a unique rhythm—of body, breath, and story. When you come in, we begin with where you are: what hurts, what feels stuck, what is calling for attention. But we also leave space for what can’t yet be named.
Your body speaks in pulses, in patterns, in expressions. Five Element Acupuncture is a language of listening deeply, to find those places where the Qi isn’t flowing smoothly, and to invite in more presence into areas of ourselves. Sometimes the work is physical—relieving pain, releasing tension, restoring gut health. Sometimes the work is more subtle—calming the nervous system, clearing emotional residue, or reconnecting you with a deeper part of yourself.
I use Classical Five Element Acupuncture to find the root of the imbalance, not just the branch. This means we treat more than symptoms. Each treatment is quiet, intentional. And always tailored to the person who walks in the door.
~Sound as Medicine
Some sessions include the use of therapeutic tuning forks, placed gently on acupuncture points, bones or fascia. When used with acupuncture, sound supports the treatment the needles are forming. It stabilizes the nervous system through vibration, not force. It reminds your body how to heal. You may feel warmth, a subtle vibration, or spaciousness. Some patients report emotional release, energetic balance, and deep peace.
I also use related techniques such as Moxibustion (the application of heat and herbs to acupuncture points), Fire Cupping (fire creating suction to remove toxins from the tissues), Gua Sha (connective tissue release), Herbal Liniments and Oils, Nutrition and Meal Planning, Chinese Herbs, Meditation, and Movement Arts such as Qi Gong and Tai Chi. The session may also include Acupressure, CranioSacral and Swedish Massage techniques. Each treatment is unique based on what is most beneficial.
Acupuncture is a complete medical system and also excels in preventative medicine, overall balance and homeostasis.
Acupuncture can help treat most conditions; some common ailments I have treated include:
Physical aches and pains Skin Issues Post Surgery Sleep Disturbance Headaches Fatigue Low Energy Digestive Issues Depression Anxiety Heart Palpitations ADHD Prolonged Grief Allergies Fertility, Pregnancy and Labor Induction Postpartum Hormone Regulation Immunity
